We are glad you stopped by the open platform stand of Samsung Techwin at the Excel at IFSEC London where you had a chance to learn more about our world-famous VEMS, Arteco Logic NEXT, and our lineup of innovative IP software solutions.
One of the solutions we developed was the Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system, capable of reading license plates for control access purposes. The solution was developed using the ALPR Camera manufactured by Samsung Techwin. The ALPR application allows users to access data for vehicle plate numbers when transiting in predefined areas, like parking lots. This gives the user full control of who is accessing the areas and provide complete temporal statistics of the access.
We also presented our full range of products to manage not only video events but also I/O events related to home security, including our map solution: an integral part of Arteco Logic NEXT which allows for increased video analytics capabilities such as multi-level mapping, I/O device and video playback activation, and live video stream management.
Our CEO, Giampaolo Sabbatani commented: “We are proud of our partnership with Samsung and believe that the Open Platform technology platform will be an excellent channel to develop new and original security solutions for the global market in which Arteco Global and Samsung Techwin work and collaborate together.” Similarly, Janet Fenner, Senior Marketing Group Manager at Samsung, declared: “Arteco has leveraged the strength of Samsung’s open platform in this integration with our line of WiseNetIII cameras, combining Samsung’s powerful megapixel imaging technology with Arteco’s expertise in software development, integration and analytics. This technology collaboration enables us to provide our customers with world class performance and accuracy at an affordable price point, helping them to detect and defeat potentially dangerous or criminal activities.”
We would like to thank everyone from visitors, to colleagues, to Samsung staff in helping us achieve our goals and making the trade fair a success for all of us.
