St. Louis, MO, May 31, 2018 – Arteco, a global provider of event-driven intelligent video management solutions, announces the release of the Arteco Security Connector, a new solution that streamlines the supervision and management of events generated by intrusion, fire systems and building automation sensors. The advanced software package extends Arteco’s ability to integrate its Video Event Management Software (VEMS) with an ever-growing number of IP devices and systems, and manage them on a single, centralized interface.
Arteco Security Connector (ASC) allows operators to receive and manage events and engage in bidirectional interaction to arm or disarm groups of sensors with a simple click. It also creates the ability to link devices with any other system configured on the Arteco VEMS, such as video cameras and access control systems.
Thanks to these possibilities, decision-making is enhanced through the capacity to visually verify the identity of individuals and obtain a complete overview of a scene. Additionally, post-incident investigations are made more effective by the availability of video information linked to each event.
Designed as an intuitive information bridge between third-party devices and Arteco Next VEMS, the ASC application is capable of receiving events from a wide variety of different devices due to pre-installed drivers. It can be installed on the same server as the video management solution, reducing the need for additional hardware investments and simplifying overall system management.
“Arteco Security Connector represents our continued focus on ensuring our customers can incorporate any of today’s leading IP solutions into the Arteco VEMS in a cost-effective manner,” said Giampaolo Sabbatani, CEO, Arteco. “The result is that organizations realize stronger decision making from streamlined device management through a unified interface while investigations are simplified through comprehensive data capture.”
ASC further extends Arteco’s dedication to ensuring an investment in video management and video intelligence solutions are maximized. New functionalities, possibilities and support are continuously added to refine the abilities of the Arteco solution and ensure customers can capitalize on the latest functions and features.
