We’ve preached the benefits of technology partnerships for years, continuously citing the numerous advantages of close collaborations that increase the intelligence available to users. We’ve also always focused on the importance of gleaning relevant data from security and business systems to facilitate rapid responses to events and streamline operations.

Our latest integration with Suprema access control combines both of these factors into one. Arteco Video Event Management Software (VEMS) is now integrated with Suprema’s BioStar 1 and 2, adding real-time access control events into Arteco. BioStar solutions can now be managed from within the Arteco VEMS interface, allowing operators to check door status and manage locks.

Access control is a key component of overall building or campus security, and Suprema solutions are optimized to meet a wide variety of access control needs and ensure strong access protocols in various market applications. Combining access control with video surveillance and management into one platform allows customers to realize new levels of situational awareness.

The Arteco and Suprema BioStar integration is suitable for customers in the logistics, healthcare, critical infrastructure, transportation and retail markets, as organizations are constantly looking for greater insight into overall security operations in today’s changing risk environment. Complex and significant threats drive the need for a strict focus on critical events rather than non-useful data, and this collaboration addresses this necessity through streamlined usability and enhanced incident management.
