FEATURES
DEWARPING – Fine-tuned dewarping function now available for fisheye cameras; Technical support specific to dewarping of Samsung wide screen cameras is also available so users can benefit from expert Arteco service.
USER POLICIES – End users can now log in to the Microsoft Active directory as one of the three user group categories (User, Power User, and Administrator) and profiling is determined based on privileges in the Microsoft Active Directory. Arteco-Logic NEXT is configured to instantly recognize and give the appropriate permissions to new personnel once they are added to the master user database and assigned a group. Access to specific cameras, management of pan-tilt-zoom control and rights for exporting video can be set for each user group. Overall, users will have a much more streamlined interface to work with and will certainly have better control by accessing Logic NEXT through the MS domain user or the traditional Arteco user name.
USER ROLES DEFINITION – Administrators can now define the roles of PowerUser and User with regards to every function of the software with an easy-to-use check-box definition interface. Administrators simply check the box next to each specific functionality description to allow or disallow that functionality for the selected role. Additionally when new Users are added, the Administrator can now define which cameras the user has access to on a given ARTECO-SERVER. If the User is denied access to a specific camera, the camera will not appear in the Device List for that particular user so they will have no indication of its existence with regards to the ARTECO-SERVER they are currently accessing.
CIAS QUASAR – The new control panel from CIAS, “QUASAR”, has been fully integrated in the Arteco Logic NEXT suite to allow users with a complete control system from one single source.
