Da fine marzo sarà attivo il nuovo sistema di videosorveglianza della Val d’Enza, finanziato dall’Unione dei comuni e dalla Regione Emilia-Romagna.
Le prime telecamere del nuovo sistema di videosorveglianza della Val d’Enza entreranno in funzione in questi giorni.
125 occhi elettronici puntati sul territorio, in 7 comuni: Montecchio, Bibbiano, Campegine, Gattatico, Sant’Ilario, San Polo e Cavriago.
Stanno per essere completati i lavori di interramento delle fibre ottiche e il sistema lavorerà a pieno regime a partire da fine aprile. Il costo complessivo del sistema di videosorveglianza è di 529 mila euro, di cui 130 mila finanziati dalla Regione Emilia-Romagna.
Anche i privati potranno installare proprie telecamere e collegarle al sistema per controllare aree pubbliche. I dati saranno gestiti dal Consorzio della Polizia Municipale della val d’Enza, ma è previsto un coordinamento con altre forze dell’ordine.
“I dati – ha affermato Drigani Franco, Comandante del Consorzio – confluiranno nella nostra centrale ma a giorni sarà possibile il collegamento con i carabinieri, una sinergia per il controllo del terriotorio per cui ci siamo impegnati in questi anni e che perseguiamo quotidianamente”.
