We’ve said goodbye to our partners and customers who visited with us at Securex and put away our trade show shoes. With this year’s conference in the books, it’s time to reflect on what was an empowering and successful event for Arteco. Hundreds of attendees were eager to learn about video event management software, our new vertical market solutions and video analytics.
In talking to hundreds of industry professionals, we couldn’t help but notice this year’s buzz reached a fever pitch on two points: convergence and intelligence.
The societal growth of at-your-fingertips accessibility and mobile capabilities has exponentially increased convenience, but with this comes an expanded risk for threats and breaches. It is a fact: security is no longer limited to just physical assets; electronic and cyber elements must also be considered as part of a comprehensive security plan.
The fusion of these areas creates a surplus of information and users want to gain more insights from this data to enhance security and business operations alike. We’ve discussed the benefits of leveraging video and security data for marketing, customer engagement and manufacturing efficiencies, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. New use cases are being rolled out on a daily basis as users find innovative ways to leverage the intelligence gleaned from this data. Convergence is really only the beginning and Arteco is here is help lead the way — ensuring customers have access to the most critical data possible while helping develop new use cases that will further define the use of video surveillance.
