This module is ideal for the industrial and civil sectors, where distributed I/O is not only a necessity but also a great advantage. The Serial I/O Module handles 8 digital inputs 0-12 VDC opto-isolated and 8 outputs relays with normally open contacts. It interfaces with the serial RS232 port and generates a standard RS422 bus for the connection of a maximum of 30 modules.

Thanks to the SDK provided, the Serial I/O module can be implemented by any control system.  The provided DLL  allows the programmer to develop Visual Basic or Visual C++ programs to control the I/O module. Also available a simple  RS232/RS422 command set without the need of use of DLL.

The case supports the mechanical connection on a standard DIN guide for electrical panels. The power supply voltage is 12VDC or 24VDC on request.

Mini PLC

The module can also be used as mini PLC.  It can be programmed by Arteco Motion Tech following the customer needs. The delay time value starting from the change of the input to the change of the output is about 200 microseconds.
